At Allendale First Baptist Church, we strive to live out the biblical command of Mark 28 – to go and make disciples of all nations. Below are a few of the missions that we support with our time and finances.
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is a fellowship of Baptist Christians and churches who share a passion for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice.
Our understanding of Baptist faith and practice is expressed by our emphasis on freedom in biblical interpretation and congregational governance, religious liberty for all people, and the participation of women and men in all aspects of church leadership and Christian ministry.
The Cooperative Program is a unified plan of giving through which Southern Baptist churches support their respective state convention and the Southern Baptist Convention missions and ministries.
Included in these missions are: Janie Chapman, Annie Armstrong, Lottie Moon, and Connie Maxwell Children’s Home.
Kairos Prison Ministry International, Inc. is a non denominational faith based ministry which addresses the spiritual needs of incarcerated men, women, youth and their families. Monthly meetings are held at Allendale Correctional Institute with an average of 180 inmates and 30 volunteers. In addition to monetary donations, volunteers from Allendale First Baptist Church attend meetings regularly.
Allendale First Baptist is currently assisting with a drive to build a worship center at the Allendale Correctional Institute.
